Windsor Park Elementary School’s owl has a new look.
As the school prepares to move into a new school building in Fall 2019, their mascot, the owl, has freshened up for a new nest.
Students, their families and school staff at Windsor Park Elementary School cast ballots September 10 through 14 to select a new design.
Nearly 85 percent of respondents preferred the design featuring the owl with wings outstretched and a full moon in the background. Students and staff learned of the winning design when it was announced Monday afternoon on campus.
The new design will be formally introduced to the CCISD Board of Trustees during an upcoming meeting.
