The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a crash that killed one person early Sunday morning.
According to DPS Trooper Nathan Bandley, 25-year-old Ryen Raol Aleman of Robstown, was driving west on Highway 44, near the Violet Road exit, when he went off the road and rolled over several times, striking some railroad tracks.
Brandley says Aleman, the only person in the vehicle, was not wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from the car.
Aleman was pronounced dead at the scene.
