Surveys sent to residents selected at random are hoped to inform the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department about interest from their patrons.

Parks and Recreation department director Jay Ellington aims for the survey to better inform his staff about park usage.

“We hope you’ll participate in it,” Ellington said. “It will help us set the course of the future for the park system.”

The survey asks what residents think the city should do to make the park system better. Information gleaned will  be collected and eventually used to update the master plan for the park.

This plan serves as a blueprint for any future improvements for the parks and recreation operations.
