Corpus Christi Firefighters got a tasty and free lunch this 2018 Labor Day.

The workers over at Olive Garden sent firefighters over at the Corpus Christi Fire Station #4 a delicious lunch. The lunch was a means of saying, “Thank you for your service.”

Olive Garden has done this for the past 17 years in a row. Also, the company does this nationwide as a way of saying, “Thank you for keeping our communities safe.”

Rudy Avalos, with Olive Garden, says, “Oh, they love it. As soon as we come in with the food, you open it and you smell the breadsticks.”

The chefs over at Olive Garden also delivered a free lunch to the fire crews over at fire station #6 on Weber Road.
