Corpus Christi police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
According to police, a gunshot victim walked into a convenience store located near Ayers Street and Bevcrest Street around 7:40 p.m. Sunday evening.
The victim had two gunshot wounds.
He was transported to the hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
Corpus Christi police confirmed the shooting suspect was taken in custody at 8:45 p.m.
