Hurricane Harvey certainly reminded homeowners of the importance of having windstorm insurance. A rally is planned for Monday, August 26th, to oppose a 10-percent rate hike proposed by the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association Board.
This week, Nueces County commissioners voted on a resolution asking the Texas Department of Insurance to not approve the rate hike.
The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is hosting the rally.
