A man who was wanted for sexual assault is now in custody.
According to Corpus Christi Police, 40-year-old Jacob Perez turned himself in to the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday.
Police say Perez was wanted on an outstanding sexual assault warrant. However, during the investigation, police say a second victim was identified causing a second warrant for sexual assault to be issued.
Police are asking any additional victims who have not yet reported to contact Detective Loraine Mathews at 361-886-2883.
Perez is currently in custody at the Nueces County Jail.
