The city of Ingleside has been approved for $22 million to build a new wastewater treatment plant.
The Texas Water Development Board approved a resolution today that would provide the funds from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
The funding will allow for construction of a 2-million-gallon-per-day wastewater treatment plant, allowing the city to meet current and projected needs.
Installation of modern, energy efficient equipment wil also reduce energy consumption at the new plant.
