The man accused of murdering of a 28-year-old Corpus Christi woman is in custody at the Nueces County Jail, according to jail officials.
Trinidad Perez, 50, is accused of killing Yvonne Villanueva. Her body was found outside of city limits near Petronila.
Villanueva was reported missing on June 11, 2018. Her body was found June 13.
Perez was arrested on July 23 by Austin Police. He was booked into the Nueces County Jail on July 25 and faces charges of assault on a family member and murder. His bail has been set at $550,000.
