CORPUS CHRISTI – A rescue team from the U.S. Coast Guard medeveced a crew member from a 95-foot fishing boat 38 miles southeast of Port Aransas yesterday.
According to USCG, watchstanders at Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi received a request Monday evening from the captain of the Lady Jennie, after a crewmember reportedly suffered a head injury.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew from Air Station Corpus Christi was able to hoist the injured crew member from the ship, and transport him to Spohn-Shoreline Hospital
