City officials have announced the Corpus Christi Utilities Department is offering a new online tool for their customers to better estimate their water/wastewater bills.
A news release states the calculator is designed to give customers a close estimation of what their new bill may look like after the new rates and rate structure took effect on January 1, 2018.
The new online calculator can be viewed here.
A news release states the calculator is based on residential rates for a 30-day billing cycle. Solid waste, gas and streets charges are not included.
If your account has more than one meter, you are asked to run the calculator for each meter.
Utility workers say there are no wastewater charges for an irrigation meter.
