Multiple agencies respond to Flour Bluff boat shop fire

The Corpus Christi Fire Department is investigating after a fire broke out at a Flour Bluff boat repair shop last night.

According to Fire Chief Dale Scott, a boat at the shop caught fire in the shop at 400 NAS Drive and Skipper Lane.

Crews from CCFD, Naval Air Station firefighters and Nueces County Emergency Services Department responded to the call that came in at 2:53 a.m. CCFD says the fire was under control within 20 minutes.

One person was transported to the hospital with first-degree burns, but has been treated and released.
