$2 admission at CC Museum of Science and History on New Year's Eve

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History is celebrating New Year's Eve with COVID-19 precautions and reduced admission.

"Grab your party hat and get ready to celebrate the New Year with a Double Dollar Day at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History," says a press release from the museum.

The socially distanced event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, Thursday.

Admission will only be $2 and masks will be mandatory, according to the press release.

They promise their own version of a "ball drop," theatrical performances, and a scavenger hunt.

"This spectacular celebration will feature many fun delights, including an incredible outdoor Atom Ball Drop at noon, fun activities, and so much more," says the press release.

The museum is located at 1900 N. Chaparral St., Corpus Christi, TX 78401.
