CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some police horses were killed last night in a bizarre chain of events.
They were brought in to help search for a driver who fled from a traffic stop.
The horses got loose from their trailer and were hit by a passing car.
These are images of the damaged vehicle.
The driver suffered minor injuries.
Sadly the horses didn't make it.
The driver who fled the traffic stop, still hasn't been caught.
