Lots of kids and their parents attended the 3rd annual KEDT Kids Festival.
This free event allowed organizers like the Texas State Aquarium and the Corpus Christi Science Museum to offer fun and educational activities for the whole family.
"Serving children in Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas is one of the missions of KEDT. We have the best educational children's programming on television and we have be here for 47 years providing programming for South Texas
kids." said Don Dunlap, president and general manager of KEDT.
KEDT was expecting 1300 kids to come out for the event Saturday.
The event was sponsored by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation.
