Fourth of July celebrations will soon be underway and with that also comes the chance of fireworks-related injuries and fires.
A fire marshal with the Corpus Christi Fire Department tells us they respond to a number of phone calls related to injuries or fires during the holiday.
Many of those injuries are to the hands and eyes and are caused by fireworks.
There's also the risk of fires.
