A post on the Sinton People Facebook page is getting Coastal Bend residents excited about a Buc-ee’s opening in the area.
The rumor is Buc-ees is coming to Sinton

The KRIS 6 News Fact Check team contacted the Buc-ee’s corporate offices in Lake Jackson, Texas to find out some details about the new location.
Unfortunately, despite the enormous positive reaction to the Sinton Facebook post, Buc-ee’s says there are currently no stores planned to open in the Corpus Christi area.
So, for now, Coastal Bend residents will have to keep driving north to get their Beaver Nugget fix.
