CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A “Ridin’ with Biden” event was held today in support of Democratic nominee for President former Vice President Joe Biden.
The event was put together by the Tejano Democrats and the goal was to help get people out to vote in the general election in November. Organizers say these caravans that are taking place are a safe way to support their candidate.
“We had to kind of dig deep and find some new ways to get out the vote due to the coronavirus pandemic,” organizer Stephanie Guerrero Saenz said. “Biden wants us safe, not block walking, and for that reason we are in our cars,”
This is the third caravan and the Biden organization says several more will be held before Election Day, which is a month away.
