CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Drone research flights over downtown Corpus Christi will begin tomorrow.
This will force a few downtown area parks to close temporarily.
Watergarden Park will close from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
Cole Park will shut down from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday.
NASA and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi have partnered to research how drones can be used to manage traffic patterns.
The downtown area is one of the test sites.
