CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A spokesman for the Corpus Christi Police department says the names of the four officers involved in Sunday night's fatal shooting will be released later today.
Officers were responding to a disturbance call near Cuiper Street when they found 22-year-old Emilio Mojica.
He was carrying a baseball bat and according to the officers, he was acting aggressively.
Mojica refused to drop the bat, even after he was tasered.
That's when one of the officers fired several shots.
All four officers have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard procedure.
