WATCH: Today's local COVID-19 briefing from City Hall

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Local officials are holding their scheduled news conference today on the local response to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The live stream of the briefing will appear in this article at 5 p.m.

The conference will be held at the City Hall Council Chambers but it is not open to the public. Only a single representative from each news outlet can enter.

Those expected to speak are Mayor Joe McComb, Corpus Christi Police Chief Mike Markle, Nueces County Judge Barbara Canales, City Manager Peter Zanoni, and Annette Rodriguez, Public Health Director.
