TEA releases return-to-school guidelines for students

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas Education Agency has released guidelines for students to return to school.

The guidelines prioritize health and safety while ensuring that students receive quality education.

On-campus learning and remote learning will be available to parents.

Health and safety procedures will be in place.

The guidelines state all students, teachers, staff and visitors must be screened before they're allowed on campus.

And the TEA will provide school districts with resources such as reimbursement for COVID-19 related expenses.

Schools will also have access to free online learning tools and free training for teachers.
