CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Rapid testing for the COVID-19 virus is now available in Corpus Christi thanks to a partnership between the Love Automotive Group and San Antonio based Davies MedClinic.
They set up a mobile testing site at 4401 SPID.
That's behind the Love Auto Center on Flynn and Corona.
Marion Luna Brem, President and CEO of Love Automotive Group say she had been looking for some way to help in the fight against the Coronavirus.
She says as an employer, she saw there was a need for rapid testing here in Corpus Christi.
Marion Luna Brem says "It will provide rapid mobile testing for anyone who wants a test, and it's a dual test. It tests the flu and Covid so you'll know if you have either or neither."
Tests results are downloaded to an app in just 15 minutes.
Marion Luna Brem says plans are in the works for more drive-thru rapid testing clinics in our area.
