CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Public pressure has forced AMC – the nation's largest theater chain -- to change its position on face masks.
Just yesterday, the company's CEO said that customers would not be required to wear a mask when its theaters reopen around mid-July.
But that sparked a firestorm of critic on social media. And today the company announced it will require patrons to wear masks.
Alamo Drafthouse also says it will require customers to wear face masks.
Both AMC and Alamo Drafthouse have theaters in Corpus Christi.
But none of them are open.
