CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — The Padre Island National Seashore park will be closing vehicle access to the beach today.
The closing will continue through August 1, 2020.
Park Rangers say people will still be able to park at the visitor center parking lot and walk to the beach or use the boat ramp.
But they also stated, unfortunately, there will be no driving on the beach.
