Nueces county reports 2 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces county officials have reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Of the 8,099 tests that have been conducted in the county, 262 have come back positive.

Of those 262 people with positive test results, 42 have required hospitalization.

Of those 42 in the hospital, 6 are currently hospitalized and 3 are in the intensive care unit.

According to Nueces county officials, there have been 3 total deaths and 128 total recoveries from the virus.
