CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Health directors across the country are on deadline to send the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention their plans to distribute a COVID-19 vaccine once it's available.
Today, KRIS 6 News contacted Annette Rodriguez, the public health director in Nueces County.
She tells us the county is ahead of the game.
Rodriguez says they submitted their plans to the state about a week ago.
Once the vaccine is available, they are prepared to distribute it across the Coastal Bend.
