CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Mudbugs Cajun Icehouse on Airline Road may not be open for dining but they've certainly opened their hearts to the community.

All their produce is now available for the public to purchase.

They've got fajita beef, ground beef, pinto beans, rice, milk, and even those hard to find eggs.

Mudbugs says as long as they have it in stock, they'll continue these sales they are feeding about two-hundred orders a day.

Krista Rose, with Mudbugs Cajun Icehouse, says, "We have people who have spent the last 2 weeks looking for beans or tomatoes or anything like that. And they walk in here and it takes them ten minutes to get what they need."

Curbside service is available if you call them ahead of time.

Mudbugs also has a great deal for kids. They have free sack lunches from 12 to 8 pm.

"And that's the best feeling in the world. It's the pure joy you see on people's faces whenever you can help somebody, " Rose said.
