CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Another Coastal Bend high school and an entire district have canceled their post-season strength and conditioning programs out of concern for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Moody High School and Tuloso-Midway Independent School District made their announcements on Monday.
Moody will cancel all workouts until July 13.
"We want to emphasize there are no confirmed cases among participants or staff," a Moody release said. "We have received unconfirmed reports of possible exposure, which led to our decision.
"We are committed to helping protect our community's health. We encourage everyone to continue followoing safety guidelines, including wearing masks, frequent hand washing and social distancing."
And Tuloso-Midway made a brief comment on Facebook that it was ending all strength and conditioning, sports specific workouts and school athletic facilities are closed until further notice.
