CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Labor Day traditionally is the end of the summer vacation season.
And here in the Coastal Bend, that usually means big crowds at the beach.
However, COVID-19 has kept a lot of people away this year.
But we did find some folks who were enjoying one more day at the beach today.
And they told us that keeping safe from coronavirus was on their minds as well.
“Practice social distancing and we just try to stay away from the crowds as much as possible,” Corpus Christi resident Carol Lambeth said.
By the way, Lambeth told us she hasn't been out of her home since March 19 because of the pandemic.
