CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We have an update tonight on Nueces Co. Justice of the Peace Joe Benavides, who was hospitalized last week for COVID-19.
The Pct. 1, Place 1 judge called to tell KRIS 6 News that he's out of the intensive care unit and has been moved to the critical care unit where he says he's doing a bit better.
Benavides says he is still putting up a fight and thanks everyone for the continued support.
