CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Changes are coming to the Nueces County Jail because of coronavirus concerns.
Some defendants are getting risk assessment hearings to determine if they need to be incarcerated. In some cases their bonds are reduced or released on their own recognizance.
Nueces County Sheriff J.C. Hooper said that jail visitation will be suspended this weekend.
