CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County residents, be sure to grab those face masks before you head out the door. Here's a friendly reminder that the county's face mask order goes into effect Friday.
The order requires employees and customers at grocery stores and big box stores to wear masks when social distancing isn't possible.
Businesses must also establish health and safety guidelines and post them where you can read them.
Masks will also be mandatory at city and county buildings and on city buses.
The mask order runs through July 10, and county leaders do have authority to extend it if need be.
