CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Catholic Charites of Corpus Christi is hosting a drive thru food giveaway this week. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 22 at the Sacred Heart Parish in Mathis.
Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi is accepting applications for the drive thru event until Tuesday, April 21 until 4 p.m. Only those who have registered and have an appointment will be able to receive grocery items.
The food giveaway will start at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Sacred Heart Parish-Mathis is located at 217 W. San Patricio Avenue. To register, call (361) 929-0987. No not leave a voicemail.
Though Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi has temporarily closed its building while the stay-at-home order is in effect, the nonprofit continues to provide assistance to those in need. Potential clients can call (361) 884-0651 or go to its website for more information about available programs.
