CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coastal Bend Food Bank Drive-Thru Food Distribution scheduled for Thursday has been moved.
The new location is Whataburger Field at 734 E Port Ave, Corpus Christi
The distribution will take place between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and people are asked to no arrive prior to 4:30 p.m..
The volunteers will hand out food boxes to 500 families.
Due to the pandemic, food will only be placed in the trunk of the vehicle, not inside the back seat or front seat of the vehicle.
Participants are asked to follow these guidelines when receiving food:
- Please wear your mask when in the distribution line
- Please stay in your vehicle
- Have your vehicle trunk empty
- Have your trunk open
- Please stay off your phones while in the distribution line
