CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Del Mar College has announced that one of its students has tested positive for COVID-19.
The student was immediately instructed to self-isolate, according to a release from the district.
After following the school's safety and health protocols, it has been determined that no one at the school had close contact with the infected student while on campus. been disinfected.
The area on the West Campus of Del Mar where the exposure occurred has been disinfected.
All of the college's facilities remain closed to the general public. Del Mar is allowed restricted access for approved employees and designated students at this time.
