CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Del Mar College Board of Regents postponed a teleconference meeting Tuesday afternoon following a coronavirus scare.

A statement from the college says they received information late Monday afternoon about an employee who was helping set up the telephone conference board at the DMC Center for Economic Development. The employee will be tested for COVID-19. Four other employees have been asked to self-isolate until results are verified.

Del Mar College says that while there is currently no postive COVID-19 test result, the meeting was postponed as a precautionary measure related to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

A new date for the meeting will be announced as soon as possible.
