TAFT, Texas — Taft ISD announced that on Monday Jan. 25, a Taft High School student attended athletic practice, and then ended up testing positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
The school district is taking the necessary precautions, and is notifying staff and students who were in close contact with the COVID-19 positive student. The school has also already been sanitized.
The school has been providing remote instruction from Jan.22-27. On-Campus Instruction will resume as scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 28.
