ORANGE GROVE, Texas — Smaller communities are feeling the concerns with the coronavirus.
Lowe’s Market is a hotspot in Orange Grove. However, many shoppers are noticing items missing from the shelves.
Other businesses and city buildings have closed their doors to help reduce the spread of the virus.
We spoke to one small-town native who shares how the senior center she normally goes to is currently closed as well.
Several natives say at this time staying optimistic helps.

Small communities are known to be tight knit and many people know each other. But with the spread of COVID-19 folks in smaller populations say they’re doing what they can to stay optimistic.
They say they are seeing less and less on the shelves.
The coronavirus has brought closures to businesses and more.
One resident says she likes to go to the senior center to play card games and catch up with her friends.
But because of concerns with the coronavirus her plans to go to the center has come to a halt.
