AUSTIN, Texas — There’s good news for Texas educators.

A total of $200 million will be allocated from the CARES Act to the Texas Education Agency.

The funds will be used to purchase e-learning devices and home internet solutions to enable remote learning during the pandemic.

Several school districts across Texas have already decided to go virtual for the first several weeks of the 2020-21 school year.
