CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say side effects from a COVID-19 booster shot appear to be similar to those after receiving a second dose.

A CDC study showed mild to moderate symptoms, which include arm pain, fatigue and headaches.

The study involved more than 22,000 people who received a booster dose.

About 28 percent said the side effects kept them from performing normal daily activities.
