CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local restaurant is changing up Tuesday dining customs. The Black Marlin Bar and Grill in Port Aransas wants you to forget Taco Tuesdays and enjoy Toilet Paper Tuesdays.

Toilet paper is difficult to find at stores these days and is worth its weight in gold. So to help out the community and entice customers to the restaurant, the Black Marlin is giving away a free roll of the coveted goods with the purchase of an entree every Tuesday.
The chef who thought up the clever promotion wanted to attract regulars and new customers to stop by and pick up some of their coastal classic comfort foods.

"Not everyone knows how to cook or cook well, not everyone wants to cook. So we're just trying to make sure people have something delicious and comforting to eat while they're hanging out at home," said Chef Gail Huesmann.

The Black Marlin is also offering grocery items for purchase. Just add them to your food orders.
