Austin area college student from Kingsville tests positive for COVID-19

KINGSVILLE, Texas — An Austin area college student with a permanent address in Kingsville has tested positive for COVID-19 case according to the City of Kingsville.

The City made the announcement on its social media pages on Monday evening. The post says the college student tested positive at a medical facility in Austin. The state health department and medical personnel assigned to the case determined this individual has been in quarantine in Austin for the last two weeks.

The City of Kingsville reported its first confirmed case on Friday. Testing for that case was not conducted at the Kleberg mobile testing site.
