GEORGE WEST, TEXAS — Area fire departments are helping out stores by keeping shopping carts clean.
Some pictures were shared on the George West Fire Department Facebook page.
The department says after businesses close for the day, they go out and hose down shopping carts with a cleaning solution.
The department says it's their way of helping keep Live Oak County residents safe.
And they're not alone, as the San Diego Fire Department and the Three Rivers Volunteer Fire Department are doing this as well.
