AGUA DULCE, Texas — A pair of 91-year-old twins had a socially distanced birthday parade in Agua Dulce.

Saturday, May 2, Jesus and Jesusa Salinas turned 91 years old today.

To celebrate, their family, several Agua Dulce residents, and area first responders held a birthday parade for them.

Family members, despite having to change plans because of the pandemic, say it didn't ruin the celebration.

"Every year we would have a big birthday party for them...every year," said Cynthia Salinas, Jesus' daughter. "Ya know, have our shirts designed, our cakes and this time it was kind of different but it was still big,"

Jesus' daughter tells us they're happy to celebrate another year with them and look forward to next year's celebrations.
