CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Cole Park was temporarily closed this afternoon as part of the ongoing NASA and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi drone testing project.
NASA researchers have been test-piloting drone technology in urban settings, hoping the technology can help local officials with things like monitoring traffic, delivering packages or providing guidance in emergency situations.
More test flights are scheduled for August.
