CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi police officer was among several people involved in a chain reaction pileup last night.
The officer was responding to an accident at Everhart and Spid around 8:30 p.m.
He was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Weber and Holly.
The patrol unit went into a spin and hit another vehicle waiting at the red light.
The good news is no one was seriously injured.
