CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — UPDATE: 11:50 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 10 - A 41-year-old man wanted in the deadly shooting at the Palace Men's Club last week has surrendered to law enforcement officials.

Police say that Ruben Trevino turned himself in to DPS troopers on Monday.

Trevino remains in the Nueces County Jail with a $750,000 bond.


Corpus Christi police are looking for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting at the Palace Men's Club.

The man has been identified by detectives as Trevino. He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He also has black hair, brown eyes, and has a beard and mustache, according to police.


CCPD officers said they received a call just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday about shots being heard at the club on Everhart Rd.

Police said when they arrived, they found a man had been shot near the entrance of the club who was later pronounced dead. Officers said the victim is a Hispanic man and they are still looking for the shooter.
