CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Baker Middle School student has put his school and Corpus Christi on the map all because of his geography skills.
This past June, eighth-grader Ashrith Reddy placed first in the US Geography Olympiad National Championship.
Ashrith, along with two fellow Baker students, qualified for nationals out of their geography club of 25 students.
