CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you've still got back to school shopping to take care of, hold off until this weekend.
The state's sales tax holiday kicks off on Friday and runs through Sunday.
During that weekend, you won't have to pay sales tax on a bunch of back to school items.
That includes clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks that are priced below $100.
According to the state comptroller's office, the sales tax holiday will save you $8 on every $100 you spend.
